Jesus and Mo is a British webcomic created by an artist using the pseudonym Mohammed Jones. Launched in November 2005 the comic is published on its eponymous website twice a week.
The simply drawn comic features two present day religious prophets Jesus and Mohammed (Mo) who share their accommodation and occasionally venture outside principally to a public house where they imbibe Guinness stout and engage in conversation and debate with an atheist female bar attendant known simply as Barmaid who is never drawn but is characterised only as a speech bubble. A fourth character, Moses, another religious prophet whose favorite beverage is tequila, appears irregularly. A single appearance was made by an overweight character, Ganesh, and Jesus and Mo mocked his weight.
The strip is also published frequently in The Freethinker magazine.
In March 2006 the Pakistan government banned access to the website.
The first 100 episodes of the comic have been published in two paperback compendiums Jesus and Mo Vol 1 Where's the soap? and Jesus and Mo Vol 2 Transubstantiated
