Jesus Church (Cieszyn)

Jesus Church (Polish: Kościół Jezusowy) or Grace Church in Cieszyn is a Lutheran Church. It is one of the largest and most important protestant churches in Europe.
The construction of the Lutheran basilica was possible thanks to diplomatic intervence of Swedish king Charles XII. The church in baroque style was constructed in 1710-1772. In the first two decades it was a significant centre of pietism.
