Jessica White (born 1984 in Buffalo, New York) is an African-American supermodel, actress and covergirl.

Jessica grew up in a tough neighborhood in Buffalo, and has admitted to have been a troubled teenager involved partying, drinking and smoking marijuana on a regular basis. During an argument with another girl, she reportedly severely damaged the girl's car with a baseball bat.

In her mid teens, Jessica was discovered by scouts and offered modeling opportunities. She moved to Paris and signed a contract with the IMG agency. In the next six months she landed campaigns for Cover Girl, Chloé, and The Gap.

She has walked the runways for New York’s top designers including Ralph Lauren, Oscar De La Renta, Marc Jacobs, and Tommy Hilfiger. She has done pictorials for Harper's Bazaar, Teen Vogue, King Magazine and covers shots for Surface and Trace magazines. In 2003, Jessica was chosen for a coveted shoot in Sports Illustrated's famed Swimsuit Issue. She was also featured in the 2004, 2005 and 2007 issues. In 2005, she became the first Africa-American model to be featured in three consecutive editions of the annual feature.

Jessica is currently part of Elite plus in New York City.[1] [2]

In 2006, Jessica had a small role in Big Momma's House 2 and has appeared in a music video for singer John Legend.
