Jesse N. Smith

Jesse Nathaniel Smith (born December 2, 1834, Stockholm, New York; died June 5, 1906, Snowflake, Arizona) was a Mormon pioneer, politician and adventurer.
Usually known as Jesse N. Smith, Smith served as Mayor of Parowan, Utah in 1859, in the Arizona Territorial Legislature's 19th session, and in the Utah State Legislature.
Smith's work for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints included serving as a missionary to Denmark, a Mission President in Denmark, and Stake President. Jesse was a polygamist.
