Jesse Leach

Jesse David Leach is best known as the singer of Seemless and the former lead vocalist of the Massachusetts metalcore band Killswitch Engage. He has also sung for former bands Corrin and Nothing Stays Gold.

Leach left Killswitch Engage shortly after the release of its second record, Alive or Just Breathing. Leach had married his wife 2 weeks before going on tour, and he was constantly separated from her. Leach fell into a deep depression. During shows, he would scream with all the emotion in his body, and little technique which resulted with him blowing out his voice. So, one night he sent the band an email, and because he was too emotionally distraught to confront them personally, he explained his situation and resigned from the band. This, coupled with the band's touring commitments, prompted Leach's departure in June 2002.

Leach did guest vocals on the song "Take This Oath" on Killswitch Engage's third effort The End of Heartache.

Leach is a committed Christian, and this is reflected in certain parts of his lyrics for Killswitch Engage. In fact, his father is a Minister. KsE guitarist Joel Stroetzel has said that Leach "is very religious and a very strong Christian." [1]

He now fronts Seemless, a band made up of former members of Shadows Fall, Overcast & Medium. Their current album, Seemless, was released on Losing Face Records and then re-released on Equal Vision Records. Seemless released their newly recorded album "What Have We Become" on September 5, 2006 through Equal Vision Records. This is the first album that Leach has fully helped write and record together with the band. He also has a side project named One of You[2].

He also contributed vocals to a song called "Blood & Flames" which complied with the album Roadrunner United to celebrate 25 years of a successful record label.

He had a small role (as "Decenz") in the 1999 film Outside Providence.
