The usage of just "God" in the article is correct. Christianity is mentioned in the lead, so "the Christian god" is redunant, and it goes against the Manual of Style's naming conventions for deities (Please see this). "God" in this context in no way shows POV. --Limetom 23:00, 17 October 2006 (UTC)
