Talk:Jerusalem (Matisyahu song)

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Am I hearing correctly?

"... let my right hand forget what it's supposed to do."

I'm not familiar with jewish culture, so I interpret this in a rather foul manner. Can anyone shed some light? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 203.45.70.112 (talk • contribs).

  • It's a paraphrase from, as the article states, Psalm 137, which actually reads "... let my right hand wither". It's a statement of his deep commitment to Jerusalem. -- Chabuk T • C ] 19:03, 16 February 2007 (UTC)
