The winner of a nomination for a U.S. Senator surely deserves an article? Hoponpop69 21:43, 10 January 2007 (UTC)

Let's see, two senators per state, at least two parties to make nominations, fifty states ... that's at least 200 "winner of a nomination" every session ... nope, I don't think that's very notable ... winning an election to the U. S. Senate, now that's a no-brainer. 72.75.85.159 07:06, 11 January 2007 (UTC)

Your math isn't right, not every state had a senate election last year, and those that did only had one. The number is much lower than 200.

Also the fact that he was one of the longest helf POW's in the Vietnam War is pretty noteable.Hoponpop69 00:09, 19 January 2007 (UTC)
