[edit] Move Request
It was requested that this article be renamed but the procedure outlined at WP:RM#How to request a page move did not appear to be followed, and consensus could not be determined. Please request a move again with proper procedure if there is still a desire for the page to be moved. Thank you for time! -- tariqabjotu 02:20, 21 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Name
In the series 3 episode where Jez is called for Jury duty, it says on the letter "Mr J. Usbourne" - not Osbourne. Hmm
- There is a discussion about this on the Peep Show page. I think we were coming to the conclusion that we should indeed spell his name as that but I still wasn't sure if I should change anything. Iae 02:25, 30 August 2006 (UTC)

The result of the debate was PAGE MOVED
[edit] Requested move
Jeremy Osbourne → Jeremy Usbourne – As discussed on the Peep Show talk page, Jeremy's surname is given as 'Usbourne' on his jury-service letter, and his surname is clearly pronounced as 'Usbourne' in the job interview scene (which is available on YouTube, his surname being spoken in the first few seconds). --McGeddon 12:42, 12 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Survey
Add "* Support" or "* Oppose" followed by an optional one-sentence explanation, then sign your opinion with ~~~~
- Support. Although there are a lot of sources for "Jeremy Osborne" through Google, they don't seem to stem from any canonical source, and were probably just from one mistyped press release. --McGeddon 12:45, 12 September 2006 (UTC)
- Support as per McGeddon. (BTW, an existing name change request is still in the backlog from 1st of September, so hopefully they'll get round to that one soon enough) --Iae 13:30, 12 September 2006 (UTC)
- Oh, I didn't notice that. Presumably it'll be dismissed again for not following the move-request procedure, as it wasn't accompanied by a "Requested move" section being added to this page, and it needs five days of survey results. --McGeddon 15:27, 12 September 2006 (UTC)
