Jerry Sheindlin

Gerald Sheindlin (born 19 November 1933 in New York City, New York) was a judge on the television show The People's Court from 1999 to 2001. Before that, he served on the New York State Supreme Court.
He is the author of two books, Genetic Fingerprinting: The Law and Science of DNA Evidence and Blood Trail. He is married to Judith Sheindlin, better known as Judge Judy. The Sheindlins re-married each other in 1977 after Judy divorced Jerry five years earlier. [1]
