Jerry Penacoli

Jerry Penacoli is an American actor.
Penacoli frequently plays TV reporters and newscasters; in the television series Hard Copy, he appeared as a reporter between 1996 - 1999. He is now a reporter for the syndicated newsmagazine Extra.
Between 1982 & 1991, he was a newscaster for KYW-TV in Philadelphia.
Penacoli is also known in the Greater Philadelphia area for being the victim of rumors of having a rodent (hamster, or possibly a gerbil) related fetish. Despite people claiming it is true it is an urban legend of which actor Richard Gere and a Cleveland Browns football player have been mentioned in stories like the one involving Penacoli. [1]
