[edit] Biography
Jerry Horton, his brother Chad and his parents moved in 1982 to Vacaville where he attended Vanden High School. He first heard of Papa Roach through an ex-girlfriend. He started playing guitar when he was 14 years using a white Epiphone Stratocaster. He listened to bands such as Metallica, Slayer, Sepultura, Nine Inch Nails, and Ministry. Shortly after the foundation of Papa Roach by Jacoby Shaddix, Dave Buckner, Will James and Ben Luther in 1993, Jerry joined the band that to this point had no guitar player. Jerry worked from time to time as a roofer and salesclerk.
He is married to playmate Jessica Lee since December 21, 2002. One of his hobbies is photography, and often uploads his images to Flickr. He currently endorses Schecter guitars and Dean Markley strings.
