Jerry Ferrara (Born November 25, 1979 in Brooklyn, New York) is an American actor. Ferrara is probably most well known for his work as Turtle on the HBO comedy series, Entourage which revolves around a rich young actor and his friends. In an interview about his breakout role on the show, Ferrara said that he told his friends he had received a role in a television pilot and they asked, "What's that?"[citation needed]
Ferrara's character is Turtle, the entourage's unofficial driver and resident gopher/tag-along who smokes marijuana. Through Entourage's three season history, Turtle has gained substantial substance and storyline attention as a character. He briefly managed rapper Saigon in Seasons 2 and 3.
Prior to Entourage, Ferrara co-starred in the movie Cross Bronx as Vivo. He has also guest starred on NYPD Blue, Grounded for Life and The King of Queens.
Recently Ferrara has appeared in his Turtle character for a DirecTV commercial. His dialog is mixed in with a clip from a past Entourage episode.
