Jerry Dowling

Jerry Dowling is a cartoonist who has also worked in newspaper illustration. He received the National Cartoonist Society Newspaper Illustration Award for 1994 for his work.
Dowling worked for the Cincinnati Enquirer from the late 1960s to 1994. He continues to do sports cartoons for the Cincinnati alternative weekly CityBeat, as of 2006. He is well-known for his usage of beavers to portray sports personalities.
