Jerry Beck (born February 9, 1955) is a well known animation historian, with ten books and numerous articles to his credit. He is also an animation producer, an industry consultant, and has been an executive with Nickelodeon and Disney. Those corporate connections might seem a far cry from the New York punk and arts scenes he cavorted with in the early eighties, but then as now it was all in the name of animation celebration and proper preservation.

Beck also hosts a presentation titled "Worst Cartoons Ever!" at the annual Comic-Con International in San Diego, California.

Beck is currently producing an animated pilot, Hornswiggle, for Frederator Studios and Nickelodeon.

Jerry Beck is married and resides in Hollywood, Los Angeles, California.
