Jeremy Phillips

Prof. Jeremy J. Phillips (born December 25, 1951 [1]) is a British [1] academic and author in intellectual property law. He is consultant at the law firm Slaughter and May, and visiting professor at the Faculty of Laws of University College London (UCL), the Bournemouth Law School, Bournemouth University, and the University of Alicante. [2] He was professorial fellow at the Queen Mary Intellectual Property Research Institute from 2003 to 2006. [1]
He launched the Managing Intellectual Property magazine and sold it to Euromoney Publications in 1991. [1] He is editor of the Journal of Intellectual Property Law & Practice (JIPLP), European Trade Mark Reports and European Copyright and Design Reports journals. He cofounded the IPKat weblog. He is a council member of the Intellectual Property Institute. [3]
