Jeremiah McDade

Jeremiah McDade (born in Edmonton, Alberta in July 1977) is a Canadian musician.
Jeremiah is a talented multi-instrumentalist and composer, playing Irish whistle, saxophone, fiddle and flute. His career began with The McDade Family Band at the age of five, and he has subsequently performed with a wide variety of groups both live and in the recording studio.
He is featured on numerous soundtracks such as the 2001 World Athletics Championships, Biography Entertainment Channel, The Banff Film Festival and The National Film Board of Canada.
Jeremiah has graduated with High Distinction from the Jazz Performance Program at McGill University in Montreal, the Performance Program at Grant MacEwan College in Edmonton and has been an Artist in Residence at The Banff Centre. He is a co-leader of the group The McDades, along with his siblings Shannon Johnson and Solon McDade
