Jeremiah Edmond

Jeremiah Edmond is the drummer for Atlanta based indie rock band Manchester Orchestra. Edmond joined Manchester Orchestra in July 2005. The band recently released their debut full-length I'm Like a Virgin Losing a Child on Favorite Gentlemen. He is currently touring with Manchester Orchestra.

Edmond's production company is called Fifth Story Music. After graduating in the top of his class from Full Sail with a degree in Recording arts and the sought-after Digidesign ProTools certification, Edmond spent three months as the Front Of House engineer for a large rock show/musical review production in Hilton Head, SC and then moved to Atlanta to engineer for Producer Dan Hannon. When Hannon partnered up with Mike Shamus, Edmond helped design, set up, and tweak the new studio. He produced two tracks off the Manchester Orchestra album You Brainstorm, I Brainstorm but Brilliance Needs a Good Editor ("Alice and Interiors", and "Play It Again Sam, You Don't Have Any Feathers". Along with the Right Away, Great Captain's most recent album entitled The Bitter End.

Edmond is one of the founding members of Favorite Gentlemen Recordings. The label was created by members of Manchester Orchestra and has put out more than ten records in the last year.
