Jensen Motors introduced the Jensen GT, an estate or coupe version of the Jensen-Healey in 1975. The new configuration was a 2+2 design with a very limited back seat. Relatively little differed from the roadster. Acceleration was slightly less due to the increased weight and additional smog control components on the engine.
During its short run (Sept 1975 – May 1976), 509 Jensen GTs were built before Jensen Motors went into receivership.
