Jenny Bradley

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Jenny Bradley was a character in the long-running drama serial Coronation Street. The character first appeared in 1986 when she was fostered by Rita Fairclough. Jenny was a wilful girl who by the end of her first year had crashed Rita's car, trapping boyfriend Martin Platt inside. A romance with a French boy followed in 1987. Jenny's father, Alan Bradley, was initially Rita's live-in lover but his financial misdealings led to him attempting to murder Rita. Jenny moved out of number 7 after Alan died in Blackpool in 1989. Rita and Jenny were eventually reconciled but the character seemed to drift from there on. Jenny became a student and eventually left the area in 1991. She made a brief return in 1993, attempting to fleece Rita of her money. The latter gave her £1,000 and told Jenny to stay out of her life for good.

Jenny was played by Sally-Ann Matthews.
