From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Jennifer "Jenn" Kristen Peterson-Hind (born May 24, 1980, in Madison, Wisconsin) is a cast member on the television show Hi-5.
At a young age, she loved to sing. Her parents had to make a rule that there was no singing at the dinner table because her constant singing annoyed her parents as well as her younger siblings Melissa and Justin. She attended the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music where she met her husband, Tom Korbee. She has a BFA in musical theatre. In 2002, Jennifer auditioned for the children's show Hi-5. She got the role of "Jenn" on Hi-5 (she plays herself) and flew out to Sydney, Australia. Her four castmates are Kimee Balmilero, Karla Cheatham-Mosley, Curtis Cregan, and Shaun Taylor-Corbett. Jenn's segment is Word Play. She and her best friend, Chatterbox (puppet) or Chats for short (voiced by Karla Cheatham-Mosley), are always eager to learn new words. She is the American counterpart of Kellie Hoggart.
Hi-5 is now into its second season.
Jennifer married her longtime boyfriend, Tom Korbee, in her hometown Madison, Wisconsin on July 1st, 2006.
Jennifer's debut country solo album, Give a Girl a Reason, is due out in spring 2007.
