Jennifer Mee (born c. 1991 or 1992 from St. Petersburg, Florida) gained international notability for having the hiccups for a long period of time. She hiccuped nonstop from January 23, 2007 until February 28, 2007, a period of 5 weeks. She had tried many home remedies to cure them, but none worked. On March 1, 2007, The Today Show announced that Mee's hiccups had ended. Though the show reported that Mee had awakened that day without the hiccups, her hiccups had actually ended suddenly the evening before.

In February 2007, Jennifer's story gained national attention, and she appeared on NBC's Today show twice, appearing both times alongside a physician, including a gastroenterologist and NBC's medical editor, Dr. Nancy Snyderman. ABC's Good Morning America tried to woo her into coming on its show the following week by sending notes to her hotel room and calling her home phone 57 times in hopes of landing an interview with her. Their efforts were unsuccessful; Mee did the second interview with NBC. She made her third appearance on the show on March 2, 2007.

On March 6, 2007, It was reported on the MJ Morning Show that Jennifer's hiccups came back and were worse than ever. She was taken to the hospital with chest pain and is now on medication.
