Jennie Franks

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Jennie Franks was Jethro Tull frontman Ian Anderson's first wife, from 1970 to 1974. She was responsible, and is credited and receives royalties for, some of the lyrics to the Tull song Aqualung, Ian having appropriated them from descriptions of pictures of homeless persons Jennie took as a photographer.

After the divorce, Jennie remarried, becoming an artist living in the southwestern United States.
