This article is a mess. It's not a proper disambiguation page, but it covers lots of different types of jelly, including some that aren't foods (despite what the bit at the top says).... and ones that are foods, but are still fundamentally different things (e.g. Jello vs. Royal Jelly).

There are three disambiguation lines in two different places, and the gelatin dessert article covers the same ground as this (more general) article is apparently trying to.

In addition, it doesn't seem to cover any of the various areas particularly well (e.g. the gelatin dessert section, again).

Any suggestions before I turn this thing into a proper disambig page?

I have returned jelly (food) to the title Jelly as every link to jelly refered to this meaning. I have moved the disambiguation to Jelly (disambiguation). This is primary use disambiguation and the principle of least surprise/fewest clicks. Rmhermen 15:31, 19 January 2006 (UTC)

Okay, that's a fair point, but you still haven't addressed the issue that Jelly is a term for two different types of food; one is gelatine-based, and the other is a type of jam (or depending on the user, synonymous), i.e. pectin-based. I believe that these are two different concepts and warrant separate articles, so which do you consider should be the default "Jelly" article? Fourohfour 16:06, 19 January 2006 (UTC)

Whomever wrote this section sounds like a square. "So it cannot be spilled and consumed quickly"? Wtf? I'm not sure that the boys around the frat are concerned if their countertops get a little sticky. I demand the author consume three shot immediately.

I have add grass jelly behind seaweed, I am not sure that name are correctly but more correctly are leaf jelly = a jelly made by leaf, but there discusion and arguing in grass jelly talk so right now i used temporary that name grass jelly in this area until final discusion be done.
