Jeffrey Lieber
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Jeffrey Lieber is a screenwriter for both television and film. He was born in Evanston, Illinois, United States, and is credited as a co-creator of the television series Lost.
Lieber is also credited on the films Tuck Everlasting and Tangled, as well as having been writer/executive producer for the unaired 2004 TV pilot Hitched for FOX.
ABC hired Lieber, based on his pitch, to write a pilot for Lost. When the project ultimately stalled, ABC approached J.J. Abrams and Damon Lindelof to rewrite. Though Lieber has not had any further input into Lost, an industry-standard arbitration recognized him as a co-creator of the show.
