Jeff Wilson (cartoonist)

Jeff Wilson (born December 4, 1958 in Markdale , Ontario, Canada) is a published Canadian cartoonist, animator and graphic artist. He graduated the Cartooning and Graphic Story course at Sheridan College in 1979.
One of Wilson's first freelance jobs was storyboard artist for the Canadian feature film Prom Night. He was later employed by Atkinson Film Arts on the key animation staff for the 1987 animated TV series "The Adventures Of Teddy Ruxpin.
Wilson is most closely associated with the comic strip The Avridge Farm, which he began in 1987. The feature ran in many community dailies, weeklies and farm specialty periodicals. He has produced many other published comic features, among which are Flatt's Farm, The Glort, Unreal Facts and Elmer E. Quipment (for the Canadian heavy equipment trade publication, The Equipment Journal).
Having produced gag panels for dozens of periodicals ranging from minor sports to religion, Wilson has been a regular illustrator for sports/fitness publications since the early 1980s.

In addition, he is also a fanatic of the 1958 movie made in Markdale called Wolf Dog. He has long campaigned to have a copy of the movie available for local residents to see and he was able to achieve this with the tireless work and effort of Philip Lubert of Rogers Television.
Jeff readily admits that this would not have happened without Philip and his contribution to the coverage and interest in the project will long be remembered.
