Jeff Rickard

Jeff Rickard (also known simply as "JR") is a sports talk radio host on ESPN Radio's GameNight program which airs seven days a week from 10pm ET to 2am ET. Rickard normally hosts during the beginning of the week with ether Freddie Coleman and John Seibel and alsois a subtitute host of The SportsBash. He joined ESPN Radio in February, 2006 after preeviously working at Sporting News Radio. He has previously worked in Denver, Colorado and Chicago, Illinois. Richard Deitsch of SI.com praised Rickard's work with ESPN Radio when he named him the 2006 Sports Illistrated Radio Personality of the Year by saying,

He's a sports-talk host who opts for a reasoned and mannered approach to topics. No screaming. No shtick. No declaring to his audience why he's the smartest guy in the room. Every time I heard him in 2006 -- and I heard him with about seven different partners -- he never failed to provide well-thought-out opinions. He is married and resides in Connecticut.
