Jeff Lang (born Nov 7, 1969) is an Australian songwriter, singer and virtouso slide guitarist. A leading performer in the Australian roots style, which incorporates primarily folk, blues and rock, his music is heavily influenced by the folk music of the southern United States but has distincly Australian lyrical content. He plays various types of guitar, both slide and standard, as well as banjo and drums. Lang's 1996 album Native Dog Creek was named 'Best Australian Blues Album' in a Rhythm Magazine readers poll and his 2002 collaboration with Bob Brozman won an ARIA award (Australia's equivalent of a Grammy) for Best Blues and Roots Music album.
