Jeffrery Allen Boschee (born on December 21, 1979 in Valley City, North Dakota) was an American basketball player who played guard at the University of Kansas from 1998-2002.

Jeff is currently an assistant coach at Blue Valley Northwest High School located in Overland Park, Kansas.

Jeff was a four year starter at the University of Kansas under former KU coach Roy Williams, from 1998-2002. He was on teams that won a conference championship and a conference tournament championship and played in a NCAA Final Four.[1] He was voted freshman of the year, and was named to the 3rd team all Big XII as a senior. He is the holder of the KU's all time three point field goals made and is also 2nd in all time in games started at KU. His post-school ambition is to become a college basketball coach.

Jeff has played professionally in the USBL, ABA, and Europe. In high school, Jeff was a Parade magazine All American, USA Today top 25, and played in the honorable McDonalds All American game.

Jeff Boschee grew up as a fan of Michael Jordan and his team the Chicago Bulls. Jeff was one of two children of Floyd and Rosann Boschee. They also had Mike who namely had the same success as Jeff, and of whom was also major athletic influence in his life. Jeff also enjoyed baseball and golf. When Jeff grew older, he was inaugurated to the University of Kansas under coach Roy Williams. Growing up he was nicknamed the Bosch. He had always wanted to play for Kansas.

Outside the court, he was named freshman of the year. Jeff has played professionally in the USBL, ABA, and Europe. In high school, Jeff was a Parade magazine All American, USA Today top 25, and played in the honorable McDonald's All American game.[2]

[edit] Jeff Boschee Academy

Jeff Boschee created the Jeff Boschee Basketball Academy to help individuals become more skilled basketball players through individual instruction. Jeff has been taught by some of the best coaches in the country, and he intends to pass that knowledge to the children. Jeff's academy focus's on individual offensive instruction such as ball handling, shooting, one-on-one moves, and agility. This academy is designed for all positions, and will be very beneficial to the development of a basketball player. And his advice to youngsters is:

"In order to succeed in anything you need to work hard and believe in yourself."

Jeff Boschee was number 13 on his basketball team. His Ultimate Sports Highlight would be to dunk on someone. His favorite sports announcer is Kenny Mayne. The best player he ever played against was Khalid El-Amin.

His most prized possession is the basketball given to him when he broke the North Dakota Class A state scoring record.
