It now seems that the two editors are removing everything because it might be in a suburb of Johnstown you might want to take a look at the edit history and see. Darthgriz98 19:33, 7 June 2006 (UTC)

I bet that other admins are already involved with Mexico4Linux and Canada4Linux. He's actually followed me into Canadian politician articles (just to disrupt by whatever means necessary).

How would one go about making a catagory? For example: Jedi with green light-sabers?

[edit] Star Wars ship names
Hey, Coredesat! I've read your comments on the aformentioned articles. Please explain your thinking more to me, as your definately have more experience than I. If necessary, I'll add a description for every ship: it's condensed history, commander, accomplishments, famous battles it was at, and where it was destroyed.
Thanks,

[edit] "Publisher's description" and "Inside front cover" sections in Star Wars issue articles
I just got a little ... uhh ... reprimand I guess for my additions of the afforementioned stuff to articles, with the accusation of copyright infringement and all that. I kinda took them as being Fair Use, but a little wary at first about the front cover stuff, then when nobody said anything to the contrary for a while, just went with it from there. Soooooo, I guess what I'm getting at is that I just want a second opinion, and you've been some help to me in the past, so I came to you. I've been trying to contact Dark Horse about this issue multiple times over the past month or so via their Contact Us page on their website (and more recently StarWars.com), but to no avail. Just wanted the ole second opinion before I went on a deletion crusade thru the masses of pages I've got descriptions and the like on. --Skope 03:41, 17 July 2006 (UTC)
- Oh yeah, and CovenantD is all about some merging of the issue articles from Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic (comics), and he might end up going for the same at Republic, Empire, Legacy, Rebellion, X-Wing, etc. Any thoughts? --Skope 04:14, 17 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Liberation of Naboo
I've added the "{{prod}}" template to the article Liberation of Naboo, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, or, if you disagree, discuss the issues raised at Talk:Liberation of Naboo. If you remove the {{dated prod}} template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. [edit] Doom 3: Reception
I do strongly support some of the criticism and rebuttal sections, though they are more the opinion of gaming experience instead of being strictly factual and sourceable. Do you think I've gone too far? --GoldDragon 04:11, 7 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Cats and Dogs Portals
Hi, Jedi6. If you can offer some tips on the respective portal talk pages about how to improve Cats and Dogs up to "featured" quality, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Rfrisbietalk 18:00, 8 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] List of Star Wars books
Question: I was looking at the list and I was wondering what you thought of removing the links for the headers not all of them have links and it makes the page hard to read. For continuity, I thought it would be better not to have them. An example would be Jedi Apprentice Series it would look nicer without the link. Empress 4t 12:08, 24 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] How do I file a formal complaint against a user?
Hello. You recently issued me a warning for attacking another user. However, the user is posting libelous remarks against me. You can see here [1] that the person mentions me at the bottom. The person has made up this info or is twisting statements around to attack credibility without solid evidence. I would like to report it, but I have found no way to do so. I'm a member of the press and my site is reliable and this person is not basing his claims on facts, which I thought speculation or hearsay is not allowed. I know it is just a userpage, but I refuse to remove my tidbit about this user and the site he represents until he removes his remarks. Thanks. --TSA 06:05, 7 February 2007 (UTC)
- I also posted rebuttals to his reliability claims [2], but I am not sure if he is allowed to remove those since it is "his" page. Would it be best to remove those from that page and post them on my own user talk page? --TSA 06:36, 7 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Vortex
Excellent! Welcome back. — Deckiller 07:12, 7 February 2007 (UTC)
- Those are how many characters have been added/removed from the article (red = removed, green = added). Also, it's easier to spot vandalism now, because there are autoeditsummaries when people blank pages, revert, replace large amounts of text, etc. — Deckiller 07:20, 7 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] User:JackSparrow Ninja/Source reliability
In response to User talk:JackSparrow Ninja#User:JackSparrow Ninja/Source reliability
- Hi Jedi 6,
- As I've put in the top note:
- This page is not intended to either praise sources or harm sources for who they are. This page is to reflect the nature of a source's reliability; a positive or negative comment is up to how they work: Wikipedia is not censored.
- The fact that the webmaster has a Wikipedia account, obviously doesn't suddenly make him or the website more or less reliable. Though since he's since focussed his activities on his site, and people have stopped quoting him as a user (OR), I've corrected the header to reflect the website. It was not meant as a personal attack, those I always try to avoid.
- The 'tone' of the page comes from when I put it first up, just as a basic outline. I just didn't really get back to it yet. I've editted it though, reflecting updates that have since happened and referenced it more.
- Removing the links would make it sort of useless. It is set up as a help for editors, yet if they don't know exactly which source it is, or where to find it, wouldn't really help anyone.
- Thanks for 'inspiring' me to improve the article though.
- I hope to have informed you well enough. If not, feel free to leave me a message.

- Jedi6, in regards to this page, I believe the user does not have an understanding of what the term "reliable" means. Every single major, reliable news outlet has had a bad story or inaccurate info posted before. This user is claiming that an April Fools Joke and a story my site retracted, and explained why, are the reasons why my site is unreliable, even though taking a closer look would show that we have: original news reports that can be independently verified, a high financial stake in the site as we pay for serious server costs and other expenses which are a burden to keep doing if we're reporting "unreliable" news, we always cite sources if we get the news from a second or third party, and we provide or own original coverage through reviews and media conent. So because two stories out of our thousands weren't "correct", we're not unreliable. On the same page, this user lists Land of the Legend, a site I believe the user JackSparrow_Ninja is a part of, or even the owner (Martjin Mujer himself) and is trying to use it as a form of taunt and self promotion. Their site is strictly dedicated to the niche market of The Legend of Zelda series, which does not have enough "news" about it to warrant a "news site", but a "fan site". Their site's content is strictly hearsay news reporting, and they don't even have that much "Zelda" content anymore as most of it seems down. They try to push (C) material as "original content" of their own, and they claim they are a major media outlet with access to resources, yet they couldn't even deliver on their claim of "superior" coverage of the Wii Launch in Europe, especially anything on Twilight Princess, nor did they even provide coverage of GDC in Germany, which they said they would definitely have. Their content and nature makes them an obvious fan site, and all they do is take content from other sites and try to push it as their own. They're reliable...for a fan site, but their original reports are always way too generic and UNVERIFIABLE - they never should be used for a source on Wikipedia and even in some guy's own personal "source reliablity" article they shouldn't be listed as "credible" or "reliable". The entire page is out to assert Land of the Legend's "reliablity", how it is more reliable than IGN for crying out loud, and it's more of their propaganda campaign. I really suggest the page be remove and locked - as I was explained, Wikipedia is not a message board and the place for personal opinions in articles, but rather facts and truths. I seriously take the user's recent actions, as well as his history of actions against my comments and edits, as harassment and I really would like him to be removed. I am not the only user his has complaints, he routinely ad spams Legend of Zelda articles, which users have routinely told him to stop. This needs to end, give him a final warning of something or remove him because he contributes nothing but trouble in the majority of his edits, and he is simply around to promote a fan site on Wikipedia. --TSA 02:38, 14 February 2007 (UTC)
-
- JackSparrow_Ninja recently added a citation to the Tingle RPG entry with a link to Land of the Legend claiming the game is not coming out on the said date a print magazine claimed. While the claim may not be true, Land of the Legend provides NO SOURCE for their info and they are NOT RELIABLE. This user account really needs to be removed, he will not stop ad-spamming Land of the Legend. Also, if you want an example of the site's reliability see this [3]. They hijacked my account (The Silent Assassin) and are posting crap with it. That's the mark of a professional site? I also seriously demand that JackSparrow_Ninja's entry on his reliability page be deleted or have his entry on my site removed because it is unfounded and just libel. --TSA 02:37, 16 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] fair use in portals
there is currently a proposed amendment to include fair use images in the portal space at Wikipedia:Fair use/Amendment/Fair use images in portals2. I have decided to contact you because you expressed interest in this topic in the past. Please know that I am contacting all editors who partipated in discussions regarding this at WT:FUC. -ΖαππερΝαππερ BabelAlexandria 22:48, 26 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] List of Wii games
Hey there Jedi6,
I've noted that you've contributed before to the List of Wii games. Just wanted to let you know that the list is getting ready for Featured status and is currently undergoing a Peer Review. If you can take a moment to look over the article and add your suggestions/comments for improvement here, it'd be much appreciated. Thanks! -Digiwrld1 21:37, 2 April 2007 (UTC)
