Re: consolidating Alber Elbaz - I suggest that the correct process would be do an article on the House of Lanvin (the business) and consolidate Elbaz into that, and link to it from here. PKM 03:11, 29 November 2005 (UTC)

I agree. Alber Elbaz currently designs for the fashion house seeing as Jeanne Lanvin is long dead. The two topics should be merged because they are what currently make up the House of Lanvin

I disagree. Since Wikipedia is an Encyclopedia, it should be divided as such. Consequently, the House of Lanvin should have its own article, Alber Elbaz should have his own article, and Jeanne Lanvin should have her own article as well. The former article would be about the company while the latter two would be about the people.
