[edit] Layman or priest?

Some material I have read regarding this person seems to indicate that he was a lay person attached to the Jesuits. This may, or may not, be important. Someone may be able to find the definitive answer. Good editing! Stormbay 02:32, 29 July 2006 (UTC)
