A minor point: I propose moving this page to Jean-Henri d'Anglebert, in line with usual French practice, French Wikipedia and the authoritative Heugel edition of his keyboard works. --RobertG ♬ talk 09:09, 9 March 2006 (UTC)

It has the distinction of being the first printed music in France to contain a table of ornaments together with their realisations. - This doesn't seem right to me. The facsimile I have of the Chambonnieres pieces also have a table of ornaments.. Can anyone confirm this? Jaddle 23:47, 21 October 2006 (UTC)
