Jean West, also known as Jeannie is a fictional character from the the Sweet Valley High book series.

Jeannie is a sweet and attractive Sweet Valley High cheerleader. Her closest friend is Sandra Bacon, whom she had known since she was little. Jeannie is one of the cheerleaders who votes against Annie Whitman. She instead votes for her best friend Sandra. However, both Jeannie and Sandra become friends with Annie. Later on, Jeannie pursues Tom McKay, a tennis star, as part of her pledge task when she attempts to join Pi Beta Alpha. Slowly, she begins to fall in love with him, and is unable to go through with the task. Despite this, she is still accepted into the sorority. Jeannie remains single after her relationship with Tom ended.
