The Jeannette City School District is a small urban school district in Southwestern Pennsylvania. It is located in Westmoreland County and is surrounded by the Penn-Trafford and Hempfield Area School Districts. The district consists of three schools, with the elementary and middle schools located in the same building. They are also home of the WPIAL AA champions and state runner-up Jeannette Jayhawks.

- Jeannette McKee Middle School
Our Middle School serves students in grades 6 through 8, which has approximately 320 to 340 students. Our Middle School offers challenging academic programs and our teachers are trained in using highly effective, researched based teaching strategies. Our eighth grade students were 73 percent proficient or advanced in math and reading on the 2005 Pennsylvania State Assessment Tests. We also offer academic support.

They deafeated the Greensburg Central Catholic Spartans in the WPIAL AA championship game 24-14 and then went on to win two PIAA playoff games but were finally deafeated in the PIAA AA State Championship 29-28.
