Jean Stewart (born December 23, 1930 in Dunedin) is a former swimmer from New Zealand, who after her marriage in 1957 became known as Jean Hurring. She represented her native country at two consecutive Summer Olympics, starting in 1952. There she won the bronze medal in the women's 100 metres backstroke.
