Jean Rouse Preston is a Republican member of the North Carolina General Assembly representing the state's thirteenth House district, including constituents in Carteret and Onslow counties. A retired educator from Emerald Isle, North Carolina, Preston is currently (2003-2004 session) serving in her sixth term in the state House.
