Jean-François Corbett

Jean-François Corbett (born June 4, 1976) is a physicist and has been a political activist. He was an active member of the now-defunct Toronto branch of the group Mobilization for Global Justice. After his 2002 move to Denmark, he became active in the anti-war group Vesterbro mod Krig, a member organization of the Danish anti-war coalition, Nej til Krig.

Corbett's professional life focuses on research in fluid mechanics, specifically as applied to the estimation of wind energy resource. He is currently employed in the Wind Energy Department of the Risø National Laboratory in Roskilde, Denmark, where he is completing his doctoral thesis.

Corbett self-identifies as a market abolitionist and favors democratic Participatory planning as a replacement.
