Source: Photo is an electronic photo of a physical photo in a looseleaf book of photos. Physical photo has a NASA stamp on the back that contains an explict statement that this photo is not copyrighted. Although NASA did not exist in 1934, subject was a consultant to Robert R. Gilruth, the director of NASA's Manned Spacecraft Center (MSC, now Johnson Space Center), and worked there from 1964 to 1970 speaking about the space program to visitors.
