[edit] images in Template:Infobox School

Your edit to Mission San Jose High School (dif) had to be reverted because of how the logo gif was enlarged and distorted. It may be that the infobox design is a problem or that the tag needs to be different for jpgs and gifs--I'm not really able to tell what should be done, but I think that you need to go back to the pages you hae been editing and see if the same problem is occuring. It also happened at Kennesaw Mountain High School.--Hjal 05:53, 20 March 2007 (UTC)

Hey, thanks so much for working on the infoboxes! A lot of the school logos are quite small, so you have to set the imagesize parameter, and possibly the caption parameter (if there is one). Check out this edit for an example. For image sizes above 220px, imagesize should be left blank. As I said on the talk page for Template:Infobox School, it's a bit complicated, but simpler than the previous thing. If you have any questions, please ask me. Thank you for your willingness to help! I really appreciate it. GracenotesT ยง 19:29, 20 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Brentwood Elementary School

Hello Jdubman. Approximately four months ago, there was a community discussion as to whether or not there should be an article about Brentwood Elementary -- the outcome of that debate was to delete the article, with no objection to a valid redirect. My suggestion would be to expand from the Mead School District page first, and then start to branch things out once we have enough verifiable content (based on reliable sources) to warrant doing so. If you have any other questions, please let me know. Thanks, Can't sleep, clown will eat me 05:43, 21 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Mt. Spokane High School

Hello again.  :) For information on what qualifies as a reliable source and what types of references to avoid, please refer to our WP:A policy, specifically the Wikipedia:Attribution#Reliable_sources section. Take care, Can't sleep, clown will eat me 16:39, 27 March 2007 (UTC)

Hi again, sorry to say, but the Wikipedia:Attribution#Reliable_sources section wasnt very clear to me. I will be able to obtain a photo of the senior bus picture gallery at that school, will that work as a reliable resource? Hopefully you aren't doubting that that is an annual tradition, because it is; there is a picture for all ten school years the school has been open. I understand your role as an administrator is to clean up unsourced facts. So without guiding me to guideline pages, can you please tell me if a photo is an acceptable source to back up a statement? Regards, Jdubman 01:03, 28 March 2007 (UTC)
If you're ever unsure about the quality of a source, you can always ask on the talk page at WT:A. In this situation I would say probably not, since what you are referring to borders on original research. Hope that helps. Can't sleep, clown will eat me 04:47, 28 March 2007 (UTC)

Can I at least add back the fact that there is a tradition of the senior bus picture? It seems to me, that I think you removed it because the whole liability part was unsourced (although it is true).

Here was the original text. "Every year, the graduating class takes a class picture with school buses as the backdrop. Up until the Class of 2006, some students had the opportunity to stand on top of the bus during the picture. That was discontinued due to liability reasons."

I would like to add back just this sentence: "Every year, the graduating class takes a class picture with school buses as the backdrop."

Could I please do that?

You do not need my permission, you just need to WP:CITE reliable published sources. Can't sleep, clown will eat me 00:48, 29 March 2007 (UTC)
