JDS Amatsukaze (DDG-163)

The Amatsukaze class destroyer was the first Japanese Maritime Self-Defense Force destroyer to have surface-to-air missiles. Its primary tasks included air defense and ASW. A single unit was launched on October 5, 1963 and decomissioned in 1995.

- 1 ASROC ASW system (Add 1967-68)
