JC Curcio
American Philanthropist
Was born to a small family in New Jersey on March 31st of 1988. He was said to have had a lust for life and the persuit of knoweldge from a young age.
As a toddler he often enjoyed studying the names and characteristics of many dinosaurs and ancient reptiles. He attended public school up until 6th grade when he transfered into a catholic grammar school. He quickly rose to a prominent position in the school, excelling in both academics and athletics (he became captain of the baseball team and voted to the MVP team for his league). He played trombone in his school, honors and state bands as well as in an out of school jazz group. He studied Tae Kwon Do and Krav Maga. In 7th grade he tragically dislocated his elbow, breaking his radial head and wrist. The summer before his freshman year he met Pope John Paul the 2nd in Canada at world youth day. He continued his education at Notre Dame where he became involved in football, cross country, track, and wrestling (attaining 3rd in the county his sophomore year). He was heavily involved in campus ministry, peerleadership and student government. In his junior year he won The Book Award from Brown University for the Junior that best exemplified mastery of the written and spoken word as well as becoming a finalist in the National Merit Scholarship program for PSAT scores. JC started working as a barista for Starbucks Coffee Company late in his junior year and was named "partner of the quarter" after working for the company for half a year.
In high school JC began connecting with and changing the lives of others. He became known as The Ben Franklin of the 21st century for his mastery of many disciplines, it was once said that JC was the Kevin Bacon of NJ because anyone in the area could connect themseleves to him in less than 7 degrees of seperation. He has volunteered for many organizations, most notably the Amercian Legion. JC is responsible for saving the lives of at least 4 people and has aided in 8 civilian arrests. JC has done volunteer work for all of his life and continues to come to the aid of others when needed.
