From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I only recently became a registered user of Wikipedia — in part for the benefits of customizable preferences and to have all of my edits logged under a single username. However, I have been reading Wikipedia articles for several years, so I hope I have developed a sense of what makes an article appropriate for The Free Encyclopedia. At present, my contributions are generally on the scale of a WikiGnome, but they may grow if I find a niche or become a bit more daring.
I have also registered with the Spanish and French Wikipedias in order to improve my fluency in those languages. (Despite my name, I am not highly fluent in Spanish, having lived in English-speaking countries for almost my entire life.) I plan to make small contributions until I feel comfortable enough to translate significant portions of articles across the en, es, and fr wikis.
