[edit] License tagging for Image:Bvks.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Bvks.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 02:04, 22 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] BKVS Image

Hare Krishna. I noticed the image you used on the BKVS article is very dark. I enchanced the colour on my computer, making the image much clearer, however due to the licence you have selected for the image, I am not allowed to upload the enchanced version. Would you be interested in uploading this image yourself? It would make a significant difference to the article, even though it's just a small image on the page. Please let me know, perhaps I can email it to you. Ys Chopper Dave 07:55, 10 February 2007 (UTC)

Hare Krishna. Thankyou prabhu, for this favor. Please email the picture to jaimin.barot@gmail.com . I did notice that I was thinking of uploading a different pic altogether. YS Jbarot 23:35, 10 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Pardon me for making an error

I just noticed your comment regarding an error I made in deleting a comment about Bhagvata Purana, 1.3.26 avatars. You are correct that my deletion of that was an error. In looking at the edit history I see that the edit was accidental due to reversions of vandalism by someone else, and I got that material mixed in by accident. You are quite right that all of chapter 3 deals with various other avatars. Very sorry you were inconvenienced, I shall strive to be more careful. The Vishnu page has been subject to heavy vandalism by IP users. Buddhipriya 02:04, 28 February 2007 (UTC)
