JBA Cars

JBA Cars or JBA Engineering Ltd is a company that makes kit cars based on the Ford Sierra. They make a two-seater called JBA Sports SRi and a four-seater called JBA Falcon TSR. Both are in 1930s style. Earlier they also made the JBA Javelin in a more conteporary style.
The company name comes from the first letter of the surnames of the three partners who founded the firm, Ken Jones, John Barlow and Dave Ashley. Until end of July 2004 the company was run by Ken Jones and Dave Ashley. Tim Banwell bought the factory on August 1st 2004. AS of writing (2006) he is looking to sell it.
