JB Hutto

JB Hutto (April 26, 1926 - June 12, 1983) was an American blues musician, born Joseph Benjamin Hutto. Hutto was one of legendary bluesman Elmore James' students, and became known for slide guitar work. He was also closely affiliated with Hound Dog Taylor, and inherited Taylor's band, the HouseRockers on Taylor's death in 1975.

Hutto died in 1983 of cancer. His nephew, Lil' Ed Williams (of Lil' Ed and the Blues Imperials) has carried on his legacy.
