John Hedley McConnell is my son, I am extremely proud of all he achieved in his short life. He died on 21st March, 2006, a few weeks before his 27th birthday.

            His life touched all who met him.I have my own special story of that amazing life. His birth was ,as at that time, I definitely did'nt want another child, having 2 already, who were very young. His aunt had a dream, in which I was very sad & she was told that he was coming & that I would accept it and be all right. He was going to be very different from the other two,very special.
  His birth was very traumatic and his death was too!....

He brought great joy into all our lives. He was very much an old soul, very knowing, very wise.

              In time, we were all to see that he was a great comforter, a great help to all of us, as we each went through our own problems in life..Jay was always someone to turn to, a rock.

For these kind of speaial souls, who is there for them?..Only now after his passing, do we all see how unselfish he was and how loving and caring.

      I miss him with every breath I take, we all do. He will never be forgotton.
                 I am so grateful he chose me to be his mother,this time.

I want to write a book about his life and would appreciate any help, from any of you, his dear friends. Siobhan McConnell.
