Jayne Atkinson (born February 18, 1959 in Bournemouth, UK) is a stage, film, and television actress. She has twice been nominated for the Tony Award for Best Performance by a Leading Actress in a Play, in 2000 for Enchanted April, and in 2003 for The Rainmaker. She is married to actor Michael Gill, with whom she has one son, Jeremy. She is also the godmother to Riley Sexton, and close friends with actress-cum-director, Hope Fitzgerald.
