Jay de la Cueva

Jay de la Cueva is one of the most famous Mexicans in the music scene. Producer, singer, bass player, drummer, guitarist, pianist, song-writer, these are some of the projects he has done. His first musical experience was with the rock band M.I.C.R.O.C.H.I.P.S. in which he was a bass player. During his participation in this band he received the nickname "Yei" which later became known as Jay. He was in the band from NiƱos Electricos through No Somos Numeros. His second musical experience was with the Mexican rock band Victimas del Dr. Cerebro. His third musical experience was with Fobia, his role as a drummer made him famous with the band. Paco Hubidoro, another member from Fobia, had a brother called "Miky" who started a band Molotov, which needed a bass player, Paco called Jay, and he became their first bass player, but he left after some time for a project called Moderatto. Moderatto is a Mexican rock band famous for their glamour and heavy, yet popular, style of music. His role in the band was that of the lead singer, yet he still plays the guitar and piano. His other musical experience was with the trio Titan which became famous during the late 1999 and early 2000. His role was that of a bass player.
