Jay Ruby

Jay Ruby (1935- ) is an American scholar who was a professor in the Department of Anthropology at Temple University until his recent retirement. He received his B.A. in History (1960) and Ph.D. in Anthropology (1969) from the University of California, Los Angeles.

He is a leader in the field of visual anthropology.
